Last week I went rummaging on microfilm in Brooklyn’s records hall and found my great great grandmother’s (Meta Harms) deed of purchase of 792 Wythe Ave. in Williamsburg on March 23 1891; 1 month after her husband’s death. A chiropractor stands there now.
That original lot was allocated by the “Freeholders of Breucklyn” in the 1680s.
