Once, on Facebook I wrote:

I don’t know who this guy is. When I first read ‘The Stranger’ it was this edition. The white make-up, the crazy hats, I want to know who the artist was who had this vision, what was the context, what was the history. If anyone has a copy and can find a caption about what it is, or if anyone knows the artist I’d love to know. It made that haunting story all the more haunting, for me.
