Crane and Annotation Studio

JSON-LD looks like a promising format for creating and defining a “book-space.” I’m also looking to create those alterations to “book-space reality” by means of annotations. And guess what, there’s an [W3C Annotations working][annowg] and their examples are expressed in …JSON-LD.

That means that the technology is probably JSON-LD and the framework should be annotations. It seems like some really good progress is being made in this space. Tom Crane describes annotating digital representation of paintings and leverages a tool called “Annotation Studio”
