Do you see a certain stylistic overlap here?

First, they’re both excellent illustrations. But I mean there’s a certain stylistic something that unites the two. Given that Ravensburger and Catan are both products of Germany, I suspect that there’s a certain style or art school that was formative to both these artists’ creations. I’d like to learn more about it.
