Riots for the Right to Superspread

I sit here in the American Corona Mecca agog at whats happening in the rest of the US. Few cities are like nyc, so I get it; maybe some think this is an over there or filthy city of filthy people thing. But like so many movements in America, it starts in NYC first: disco, abolitionism, Jimmy Choos. It then diffuses like lung vapor coughed up and slowly, inexorably settles.

My street bookseller has a memorial on 96th street. Colleagues mothers and mother in laws are gone. I can hear the dry coughs by the closed windows down 94th and 93rd streets.
