if i might add in another 'english with saxophones' point:

courtesy of a coworker of mine, i have some Pet Shop Boys on my computer now. "To Speak Is A Sin" has all of the necessary song prerequisites

it's weird, i never said to myself 'hey i really think i need to check out the Pet Shop Boys catalogue' but now that i have it to listen to, it's a bit more well-produced and deep than i would have thought. "West End Girls" was not the beginning and end of their good work, so it would seem.

I don't know these names ... and after the 60's psychadellia thing, I think I'd rather wait until you lend me you iTunes one more time (along with earbuds and everything).

I know one thing though: nothing, and I mean NOTHING, beats the black's vocal anguish of an enslaved soul -- I am listening at Sam Cooke RIGHT NOW.
