I don't often disagree with you, but here we go: I get really discouraged when the shoddy, slimy Bush administration gets made the exemplar of Christian morality. Deus ex Mechina was an invention of Greek theater, not of the church; it's just been conveniently capitalized-upon by that bastard DeLay and cohorts.

I loathe preachiness, but this point is important to me: it's not, "just wait you rich, thin, intelligent people, I'm gonna get what's comin to me." It's not a big Screw you guys I'm going home. Don't live by a sense of entitlement just because you have a disadvantage; live by a sense of abundance and responsibility. Even if you're not rich, beautiful, or smart--the world does not owe you anything. You have no right to great things; you have to work for them, and even if you work for them you might not get them. That's not a namby-pamby philosophy, and I'll disagree with Mr. Nietsche that it's a slave mentality. With Gandhi: I love your Christ... it's your Christians I have problems with.
